PE has excellent surface characteristics and as a result
lower friction loss compared to most other pipes
material, leading to lower energy requirements for pumping
water through the pipe.
PE is essentially chemically inert and, therefore, unlike
iron or cement, will not be affected by acid soil
conditioner or other corrosive condition.
There is no protective coating or finishing process
necessary, thereby avoiding additional costs and
potential risk of further failure.
